A Socially-Redemptive, Ecologically-Sensitive, Aquaponics Greenhouse Project

Raising Fish in Tanks + Cultivating Organic Produce in a Greenhouse Environment

In addition to tilapia fish harvesting, our goal is to produce 3500 pounds of 100% locally grown produce per 350 square feet of growing space.

The Social Impact:

  • Supplies high quality consumables in Richmond’s food deserts
  • Provides jobs for underemployed workers
  • Access to a living lab for High School science and technology classes
  • Reduces carbon footprint (farm-to-table)
  • Develops community pride
